After successful starts in their national leagues - the Stockholm Mean Machines beat the reigning Swedish Champion Arlanda Jets 8:7, the Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders are undefeated 3-0 - the Stockholm Mean Machines moved up to 7th place in the EFAF Euro Top 20 Ranking. The Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders are for the first time in history ranked on the 5th place. This means two Euro Top 10 teams match each ohter in the EFAF Cup qualification game for the semi-finals.
Battle of super athletes
The Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders know they will face a great athlete with NFL experience in the person of RB Jeff Paulk. Raiders Defense Coordinator Dave Hansen did some research on him on the internet and found out that "for European standards he is a great, great player who we will have to take care of the whole game though." The Tiroler Tageszeitung (www.tirol.com) is the most read daily newspaper in the federal state of Tyrol and official parnter of the Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders. On Thursday they will print a 1 page color advertisement poster for the game. Over 250.000 Austrians will read this.
Radio advertisement for the game the whole week
On Tyrols most popular private radio stadions "Welle1" and "Antenne Tirol" the game will be announced from Wednesday - Saturday with interviews and jingles.
TV announces and shows game
On Thursday media parnter ORF - nationwide TV channel - will have a documentary on ORF Tirol at 19.00h about the Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders Youth program and the EFAF Cup game will be promoted as well.
