After the break, the first points went to the Samsung Frankfurt Universe. The kickoff-return of the start of the third quarter was carried back to the 30-yard-line of the Rebels by John Tidwell. A little later Silas Nacita ran with the egg into the end zone. Möll scored with the extra point the 7:0. Frankfurt´s squad increased a little later by a fieldgoal of Möll to a 10:0 lead.
But the Rebels fought back into the game. At the end of the third quarter the hosts shortened to 3:10 through a fieldgoal by Philipp Andersen.
In the last quarter, the Berlin team showed their offensive class again and scored through a big play, when Nicolai Schumann could carry a pass from James Harris over 62 yards into the end zone. The rebels went full risk and were rewarded with a trick play and a successful 2-point-conversion – and won the game with 11:10.
