The entertainment started the day with best selling artists from norwegian idol and rappers. National tv station TV2 and local tv stations as well as local and national newspapers were present to cover the final( Eidsvoll is now dubbed "football town Norway" in national newspaper Aftenposten).

Eidsvoll took the lead early in the first quarter on a run by QB Mike Burton, wich was the only score before half-time. In the 3 quarter the Trolls evened the score with a pass from Trolls QB Sly Yelder.
Eidsvoll then regained the lead on a wr screen pass wich WR Knut-Olav Gunnerud took 26 yards for a TD.

Both defences were dominat all day ( and in Eidsvoll`s case has been all season, pitching 5 shut-outs and only giving up 18 points during the regular season) and Eidsvoll`s "D" forced the Trolls to punt on their ensuing drive. Eidsvoll 1814`s punt returner Tristan Solo took the punt return for 55 yards with dazzling moves that got the crowd on their feet for a touchdown. Kicker Jon Julsrud kicked the extrapoint and set the final score to 21-7.

Eidsvoll now has won the norwegian regular season 3 years in a row and won the norwegian national championship 2 times in a row after they first won it in 2001.

Game MVP`s went to 1814`s QB Mike Burton on offence and 1814`s DB JB Butler on defence.
