On sunny Sunday in Prague in front of 400 fans the Panthers and Dragons met in a battle for the spot in 2008 EFAF cup semifinals. Dragons arrived with the recent back to back wins against Graz Giants and Vienna Vikings but it was the execution of Panthers offense, which decided the game.

After forcing powerful Dragons offense to punt on their first drive, Panthers took quickly the lead which they never lost during the game. Although Dragons proved with their mix of ground and air attack that their recent results are well deserved, Panthers offense, which was not forced to punt the whole game, kept gaining yards backed up by strong defensive effort.

Dragons were able to bring the score into two touchdowns difference with their well executed passing game which caused problems to Panthers secondary but Panthers replied with yet another touchdown putting the game out of reach for the dedicated team from Austria.

Prague Panthers celebrated their return into EFAF competitions with the reaching of semifinals where their opponent will be strong Berlin Adler team.
